All paintings come unframed.
Box frame canvass 's can be hung directly on the wall or framed.
If you require your painting to be framed, I am more than happy to quote you for a range of wood, metal or specialist frames upon request.
I use photo's of your pet to produce a painting or drawing which accurately represents them and their character.
I often utilise Graphics software such as Photoshop to produce a "mock up" of the painting.
When you order your painting I will ask you to e-mail or send me photographs of your pet to work from. It is important that the photographs are of a suitable quality - many photo's taken with a MOBILE PHONE do NOT have sufficient resolution to make them suitable. A digital 35mm camera generally gets the best result...but I am happy to look at photos you may already have and see if they are viable.
If you live locally (Wiltshire), then I can always visit you and your pet and take the photographs myself.
Most people prefer to have a pet portrait...head & shoulders, so this should be the focus of your photos - close ups and "posed" images are good. If you want a painting which shows the whole of your pet or with detailed background, try and focus on your pet to give maximum resolution and detail.
I can work on a range of photo's to get your pet painting in the right pose , so the more images I have the better!
